Blake Singer – Manager
Blake Singer has been with Carpet Tech since September or 2003 and is the Amarillo Manager. He was born on April 27th and grew up in Tulia, TX. Blake is IICRC certified in odor control, fire & water restoration, stone restoration, and carpet cleaning and is able to do carpet repairs. Blake attended South Plains College. Blake is married to Crista Singer and they have one daughter, Ava. Blake also has a great dane named Zeke. In his free time Blake enjoys playing darts. Blake loves how at Carpet Tech everyone is one big family and everyone has one another’s back. His favorite memory is from back when the company was being called out to all of those floods and everyone pulled together and worked so hard to get them all done. Something interesting about Blake is that he loves the water. His favorite quote is “Everything happens for a reason, Just believe.”
Don Short – Crew Chief
Don Short has been working at Carpet Tech since March of 2009 and works as a Crew Chief. Don is IICRC certified in carpet cleaning. Don was born on June 18th and grew up in Dumas, TX. Don attended Amarillo College. Don has a half basset/half lab dog named Koda. In his free time, Don enjoys softball, sports, music, movies, and playing golf. He loves how at Carpet Tech he is given a great environment to work in, the company takes care of the employees, and how we take care of our customers. Don has loved the lake trips and the tech tailgates with the company. Something interesting about Don is that he won a spelling bee in the 5th grade. Don’s favorite quote is “Instead of giving myself reasons why I can’t, I give myself reasons I can.”
Kolten Loveless – Crew Chief
Kolten has been a valued member of the Carpet Tech family since August of 2010. He is orignially from White Deer & moved to Amarillo to attend Amarillo College. Kolten enjoys hunting, fishing, golf & racing motorcycles. He also has a 2 year old pitbull named Raider. What he loves the most about Carpet Tech is the fact that we are one big team & everyone works together to get the job at hand done. His favorite quote is ”You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.”- Mae West

Trent Kennedy
Trent has been with Carpet Tech since March of 2011. He is originally from Canyon, TX and is IICRC
Certified in carpet cleaning, repairs & reinstallation and is also our primary air duct crew chief. Trent
spent 2 years studying at Howard Junior College & also received his welding certificate from Amarillo
College. When Trent isn’t working, he enjoys golfing, playing softball, & being outdoors. What he loves
the most about Carpet Tech is how much like a family we have become. Each and every one of us would
do anything for each other, just like family. Trent’s favorite quote is “You only fail if you give up trying to succeed.” Something unique about Trent: When he was 13 year old he was on the first little league from the panhandle to go to New York and play in the Little League World Series. He is also in the Little League World Series Hall Of Fame.
Caleb Statser
Caleb is an IICRC certified crew chief here at Carpet Tech and has been a valued member of the Carpet
Tech family since August of 2011. He was born and raised here in Amarillo and attended Calvery Chapel
Bible College. He enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing & playing the guitar. What he loves the most about
Carpet Tech is the bond he has with each of his co-workers. Caleb’s favorite quote is “I’ll have me some
of it.”- Tanner Auldridge. Something unique about Caleb- He can solve a Rubik’s Cube.
Sam Pharies
Sam has been with Carpet Tech since September of 2011 & is a truly valued member of this team. He
is originally from Roy, NM but has since made his home in Amarillo. He enjoys riding horses & roping.
The people Sam gets to work with everyday are without a doubt, what Sam loves the most about Carpet
