Key Benefits

With the Carpet Tech experts and the 100% dust containment system used by Carpet Tech, sanding your hardwood floors is a cleaner, healthier and faster process. Traditional hardwood floor sanding is typically an extremely dusty process, like a dust storm in your home, leaving lingering dust in your air-ducts which makes you feel like clean-up will never end.

Carpet Tech uses an innovative process that provides 100% dust containment utilizing a powerful vacuum system attached to all sanding equipment. This process results in higher quality by eliminating airborne dust that would otherwise settle back down into the finish. You will also avoid the costly clean-up incurred after traditional wood floor sanding. Once your floors have been sanded and the dust has been evacuated to a container in our truck, any flaws that were present in your hardwood floor are now refurbished. If some of the wood has serious damage, we can repair that as well. This allows for a smooth, flawless finish.

 State of the Art Finish

Carpet Tech offers waterborne finishes. These finishes have no toxic fumes and low VOC’s which means your health is not at risk. This also means that you do not have to vacate the premises during refinishing. The product that we use is Green Guard certified for indoor quality. If you want to change the color of your finish we will work closely with you to ensure that you get the finish that you want. Carpet Tech does use oil modified finishes when the customer prefers an antique look on their wood floors.

Fast dry times are accomplished with our products and procedures.
