Pre Treat
When water is called for, use only lukewarm to avoid setting the stain.
- Blot up as much moisture/excess as you can using light colored rags or paper towels.
- Scrape up any solids.
- Pour club soda on the spill. The carbonation in the soda will "bubble up" the spill so you can blot it up. cover the spot with light rags or paper towels and stand on it to absorb as much of the spill as possible. Continue until all the color from the spill has been blotted up.
Note: Always Blot, never rub as it will only spread the stain and cause abrasion to the carpet fibers.
