FIRST of all, scrape and blot excess lipstick from the carpet. Apply a mild detergent on a damp cloth. BLOT DON’T RUB. Apply ammonia on damp towel, blot, DON’T RUB.Then apply white vinegar on a damp towel & blot (DON’T RUB!), & then rinse with water. Put a paper towel with weight on top to absorb the stain, repeat blotting & not rubbing until dry.
